Assembly Step-by-Step Instructions
Platform and wheel components when packaging is removed.
Wheels are installed on spindles and lynch pin is inserted to prevent wheel from coming off during transport mode.
Lynch pin is inserted into axle after wheel is put on spindle.
This is the leg with six detent pins fastened onto it. Notice there are 2 different lengths of pins.
There are 4 legs each with 6 detent pins on each leg.
The longer pins are used to attach the leg to sockets that are welded on the bottom of the platform and also to attach the foot plate to the bottom of the leg. The shorter pins are used to assemble the struts and cross braces to legs. Ensure that pin is inserted completely thru all tubes during assembly. This ensures a proper fit and prevents elongation of holes.
Put platform upside down on ground and install all legs making sure all 2” pins are fully inserted thru leg sockets. Next assemble 4 struts from leg to leg by means of the 1” pins inserted thru the clips and strut, making sure the pins are fully inserted.
Leg and foot plate assembly. There are 4 foot plates.
Foot plate assembled in the bottom of the leg.
This is the cross brace and also the bottom strut. Cross bracing is longer than the bottom strut. There are 4 each.
Ladder or tow bar. Flip style hooks are factory installed on the bottom of the ladder that are flipped onto bottom strut during assembly.
The factory installed bolts (4) are used to attach ladder to the platform during use and also to attach the ladder underneath the platform during transport mode. (Shown).
Install cross bracing starting with the top hole and pin insertion and then doing the bottom hole and pin insertion. Do this 4 times. Flip stand onto its foot plates and attach ladder to top mount by means of top 2 bolts and flip bottom hooks onto struts.
Optional towing attachment used when pulled by an all-terrain vehicle.
There are 2 side handrails and 2 front and back handrails. Side handrails have a receiver tube welded vertically on the inside of tubes to accommodate insertion of the front and back handrails. One tube is longer on front and back handrails to allow them to be opened without total removal for entrance or exit. Simply lift up and swing handrail out to accomplish this.
Thumb screw with a locking wing nut to snug the side handrails into place upon completion of assembly.
Place handrails onto each side of stand, place front and back handrails into side handrails. Button holes are added in cloth fabric for Velcro straps or tie straps on the tops of handrails together during use. This will insure a snug fit when assembled. Finally back off wing nut and hand tighten thumb screw onto side handrail and lock wing nut.
Transport mode with cloth cover on handrails. Two covers not shown for illustrations. There are 3 pockets sewn into each handrail cover for storage needs.
Your stand is now fully assembled and ready for use. Disassembly is the reverse order of assembly steps.
